Novice Mentees
Anyone who qualifies for the WSDC Novice division is welcome to attend our weekend mentorship activities. No sign up required!

Friday - Meet & Greet
This mixer introduces our Novice mentees to this year's All-Star mentors in a fun, welcoming environment. It’s a chance to connect, share experiences, and build meaningful relationships across levels. Join us as we celebrate community
and let down the walls that keep dancers apart.

Saturday - Competition Discussion Panel​
Bring your burning questions and get real, honest answers in an open Q&A format. Your mentors will share their insights from years on the dance floor and behind the scenes. It’s a rare chance to learn directly from those who’ve navigated the competitive world themselves. We hope you'll leave feeling inspired, informed, and more connected to the community.

Sunday - Guided Practice
Novice dancers will rotate to All-Star couples in small groups to learn tips, tricks, and exercises based on the 3 Ts (timing, technique, teamwork) that they can take home and practice. Each small group will rotate to every All-Star couple. Practice makes progress!
All-Star Mentors
We're looking for engaged All-Star dancers who are passionate about mentoring the next generation of West Coast Swing dancers at the Novice level. We all started somewhere, this is your chance to give back, coach, and foster the future of our community while having a great time!
